ગુજરાત રાજ્યનાં પંચાયત વિભાગમાં લાંબા સમય બાદ ભરતીની કવાયત શરુ કરવામાં આવી છે. જિલ્લા અને તાલુકા પંચાયતનાં માળખામાં આશરે 16,600 જેટલી જગ્યાઓ ખાલી છે. તેમાંથી 13,000 જગ્યાઓ ભરવા માટેની વહીવટી પ્રક્રિયા ચાલુ છે. નવેમ્બરમાં રાજયની દસ હજાર ગ્રામ પંચાયતની ચૂંટણીની આચાર સંહિતા લાગુ પડે તે પૂર્વે આ ભરતીની જાહેરાત કરી ઓન લાઇન અરજીઓ મંગાવવા સરકાર આગળ વધી રહી છે.

Selection Process
- The candidates will be selected purely on a merit basis.
- The online Computer Based Test (CBT) will be of 100 marks
- Minimum 40% shall be passing marks for the written examination for all the posts
- The oral examination will be of 20 marks and hence weightage of CBT will be 80% in overall merit

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification
UDC: Graduation from a recognized University or equivalent. Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and databases.
Steno: 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Dictation: 10 Minutes @ 80 words per minute. Transcription: 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi) (Only on computers).
MTS: 10th passed from a recognized board.
Age Limit
Candidates applying for the posts of Upper Division Clerk and Stenographer must be between the age group of 18 to 27 years as of the closing date for receipt of applications i.e. February 15, 2022. Candidates applying for the posts of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) must be between the age group of 18 to 25 years as of the closing date for receipt of applications i.e. February 15, 2022.
Application Fee
Candidates belonging to other categories must pay a sum of Rs 500 as an application fee. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/ Departmental Candidates, Female Candidates, and Ex-Servicemen must pay a sum of Rs 250 as an application fee.

Final Selection will be based on written exam.
