The Old Pension Scheme refers to the pension plan that was available to government employees who joined the service prior to January 1, 2004. This scheme was introduced to provide retirement benefits to government employees in the form of a pension, which was a fixed monthly payment for life, based on the employee's years of service and their last pay drawn.

 એટલે પેન્શન ગેરંટી, OPS અને NPS જૂની થઈ ગઈ છે. બધા NPS કર્મચારીઓએ GPS ને સમજવું જોઈએ, GPS શું છે?

Under the old pension scheme, the government was responsible for funding the pension, which was based on the employee's years of service and their average pay during the last 10 months of service. The pension amount was calculated as a percentage of the employee's average pay, with the percentage increasing for each additional year of service.

However, in 2004, the government introduced the New Pension Scheme, also known as the National Pension System (NPS), for all new government employees. The NPS is a defined contribution scheme where the employee and employer contribute a fixed percentage of the employee's salary to a pension fund, which is invested in the market. The retirement benefits under the NPS are based on the returns earned by the pension fund, and there is no guarantee of a fixed pension amount.

 હવે GPS એટલે પેન્શન ગેરંટી, OPS અને NPS જૂની થઈ ગઈ છે. બધા NPS કર્મચારીઓએ GPS ને સમજવું જોઈએ, GPS શું છે?

જગમોહન સરકાર આ નવા જીપીએસને લોન્ચ કરવાની તૈયારી કરી રહી છે, જેમાં કેન્દ્રની મોદી સરકાર પણ ખાસ્સી રસ દાખવી રહી છે અને કેન્દ્ર સરકાર પણ આ યોજના વિશે વિચારી શકે છે.

 GPS એ કર્મચારી અને સરકાર બંને માટે લાભદાયી યોજના બની શકેSub છે, જેનો સામનો કરવા માટે એક સારો વિકલ્પ હોઈ શકે છે.

 જીપીએસ શું છે?

ઓપીએસની જેમ પેન્શન ગેરંટી અને એનપીએસની જેમ યોગદાનની કપાત.

 જીપીએસ કેવી રીતે ગણી શકાય?

14% કપાત પર 40% ગેરંટી છે પરંતુ આ પણ NPS ની જેમ નિશ્ચિત કરવામાં આવશે

 અથવા

 GPS=NPS+OPS

 કેન્દ્ર સરકાર જીપીએસ તરફ જશે તે વાત હજુ સુધી કન્ફર્મ નથી, પરંતુ હવે જોવાનું એ રહેશે કે સરકાર કેવો નિર્ણય લેશે

As of now, the Old Pension Scheme is no longer available to new government employees, and all employees who joined the service after January 1, 2004, are eligible for the NPS. However, government employees who joined the service prior to January 1, 2004, are still eligible for the Old Pension Scheme
