The education department in the state has taken an important decision to allow the recruitment of new teachers. Informing about the decision taken in the state cabinet, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that 6616 teachers would be recruited in the state. 2307 vacancies will be filled in the grant aided schools. The state government has approved the recruitment. 3382 teaching assistants will also be recruited in higher secondary schools. The government has approved for assistants. 927 professors will be recruited in the colleges.

Recruitment of teachers will be done according to different subjects

The state government has also decided to recruit 624 English teachers. So 446 teachers of account subject will be recruited. 334 sociology teachers will be recruited. 276 economics teachers will be recruited. 254 Gujarati subject teachers will be recruited. 1039 math science teachers will be recruited.

Vacant subject teachers will also be recruited

Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama told a press conference that he was grateful to both the Chief Minister and the Finance Minister for approving the new recruitment. Recruitment of new teachers will increase the quality of teaching. New teachers will be recruited instead of merging schools. Vacant subject teachers will also be recruited. The list will be released soon.

The response of children in schools was good

Speaking on the issue of reopening of schools, he said that after such a long interval, the children have shown enthusiasm in coming to school. Parents are also requested not to be afraid to send their children to school. The recruitment process will now be announced in due course.
